Richmond A. Moore (Yak), 102,years of age, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on Saturday, September 26, at a local hospital.
Richmond retired from the City of Chattanooga as an Asphalt Laborer and was an active and well-known member of his community, Fort Cheatham from his youth until just weeks before his death. Richmond was always known for feeding and helping the homeless and less fortunate.
He was preceded in death by both his parents Richmond A. Sr., and Mattie Moore; his siblings: Edith McCrary, Joe McCrary, Ralph McCrary and Ruth Moore and a son Ralph Moore.
Survivors include his sons: Richard (Juliette) Moore, Gerald Dennis of Chattanooga, TN; ArthurL. Holmes of Harriman, TN; Anthony (Madolyn) Dennis of Atlanta, GA; Antonio (LaTasha) Kelley, Vincent Dennis, Tracy Green, Victor Moore, Kenneth Moore of Chattanooga, TN; and his daughters: Cassandra K. Moore of Chattanooga, TN; Angela A. Holmes of Harriman, TN; Erica (Quinton) Dorris of Murfreesboro, TN; Ann (Robert) Lewis and Skye Moore of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and close friends.
