Aaron Walker, Sr.

Mr. Aaron Walker, Sr. died peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born, January 18, 1932, one of 11 children to the union of John and Cora Walker in Southhill, VA.

Mr. Walker was a man that loved the Lord and his family. Helping others was something he taught not only to his children and grandchildren, but all that had a chance to come in contact with him. He was a very hard-working individual and his work ethic, which was impressive, reflected that. During his lifetime he worked several jobs including two jobs for 15 years to support his family. Later he worked at American Manufacturing for 30 years in various roles and functions.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Cora Walker, loving wife, Eula Mae Walker, daughter, Edith A. Ferebee and grandson, Karlyn Ferebee II.

Survivors include his three sons: Aaron (Angel) Walker, Jr., Alfred Walker, Andrew (Gaylin) Walker, grandchildren, Aaron (Trenette) Walker III, Anthony Walker, Cedric Walker, Demetra (Terrance) Allen, Harris (Jasmine) Walker, Gwendolyn Avery, Maria Avery, Leviticus Avery, Ronald Swift, Graylin Walker, and Gabriel Walker, a host of great-grandchildren, brothers, Thomas Walker, Surfside, SC, James Henry Walker, Tampa Bay, FL, and sister, Queen Fields, Newark, NJ.

A special thanks to all those who provided care and opened up their hearts to our father. And a special thanks to Angel Walker and others for their open minds and open hearts. Dad will be greatly missed by family and those who knew him and loved him. Many people walk in and out of your life, but people like dad will leave footprints on your heart forever.

A private service will be held by the family.
