Robert Alvin Echols, Jr. was born on June 7, 1942 in Moreland, GA to Robert and Mattie Echols.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Mattie Echols, brother Theodore Echols, sisters Evelyn Echols, Diani Treat, and Jessie Ruth Poteat.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Ruth Worbington, and his son Teddy Echols, sisters Earnestin Chany, Daiszell Townsend, Robbinette Echols, and Inez Fitchpatrick, grandchildren Shantel Worbington, Arnetrice Hunter, Deangelo Ballard, and TriShonda Ballard, 8 great-grandchildren, a special niece Janet Townsend, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
