Miss Mildred Katheryn Juliuette Kimbro passed at the age of 93, in her home on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was born January 6, 1928 to the late Mr. Julius Alexander Kimbro and Mrs. Will Anna Kimbro Kendrick. She was the 2nd youngest of 7 siblings and the last survivor of the group. She graduated from Howard High School - class of 1946. She confessed her faith and joined New Monumental Baptist Church under Rev. William C. Upshaw. She has been a faithful member of the church for over 70 years. She served on the Usher Board and other auxiliary ministries, as well. Miss Kimbro proudly worked for Tennessee Valley Authority for over 35 years as a Map Maker. She often recounted stories of how her maps instructed soldiers on the location of the demarcation lines during the war. During her tenure there she received many awards and accolades for her service. She leaves to cherish her memories: Nephews and Nieces - Harold Durham of San Antonio, Texas; Harold Moore; Tracy Moore both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Constance Sharpe of Elmira, New York; Brother-in-law, Wilbert Moore; Niece-in-law, Anne Berry Moore both of Chattanooga Tennessee; a host of great nieces and nephews including: Judy Durham, Christine Black, Philip Durham, all of Cleveland, Ohio; Ronald Durham of Ypsilanti, Michigan; and Catina Smith of San Antonio, Texas. As well as, many beloved friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
