Ledarryl (Strawberry) Welch was born August 26, 1959 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James and Cinderella Welch. He departed this life on April 23, 2020, at Standifer Place of Chattanooga Hospice Unit.

Strawberry was educated in the Hamilton County School System. Strawberry enjoyed spending time with his family and working on cars.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, James and Cinderella Welch, grandmother, Jannie Barksdale, nephew, Quincey Welch, niece, Keiara Patton, and brother-in-law, L.C. Hill Jr.

He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted daughter, La'Nita (Marmion Jr.) Montgomery, son, Michael Taylor, two sisters, Glenda Hill and Cindy McCrary of Denver, CO, two granddaughters, Jessica Gary and Alexandria Montgomery, grandson, Marmion Montgomery III, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
