Beloved father and husband, Gamaliel 'Gama' Bautista Garcia, passed away on May 8, 2022 at the age of 57. As a man who loved God sincerely, he is celebrating his wholeness now in the arms of Jesus. He was devoted to his family and his church. As a talented woodworker, Gama created many beautiful works for family, friends, and customers.

Gama is remembered by his wife, Adria, and their four sons, Isaí, Natán, Josiah, and Eliezer, who loved him deeply. Gama is also survived by his siblings: Celina Bautista Garcia, Israel Bautista Garcia, Joel Bautista Garcia, Mari Cruz Bautista Garcia, and Gladys Bautista Garcia. He was blessed with a loving extended family of in-laws, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.

A service to celebrate Gama's life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 10 am, at New City East Lake, 2903 E. 37th St., Chattanooga, TN. There will be a reception at the church after the service to which all are invited. Internment will be Monday, May 16, 2022 at Forest Hills Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
