Dana A
Emborsky
January 3, 1950 – November 25, 2025
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Dana Andrew Emborsky, 75, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2025, after a courageous battle with cholangiocarcinoma. Dana passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the singing, tears, and laughter of his wife, Kimberlea, and daughter, Tasha.
Dana was born on January 3, 1950, in Salamanca, New York, to Daniel and Dolores Emborsky, both of whom preceded him in death. Dana proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for six years.
He earned a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State, a Master's in Biblical Counseling, and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. He walked out his faith as a teacher, computer programmer, residential childcare worker, and missions pastor.
Dana is survived by his wife, Kimberlea Emborsky, and his daughter, Tasha Emborsky. He leaves behind his siblings: Dan, Dennis, Dawn, Debra, Don, Doug, and Drew, along with many nieces and nephews, and his church family.
Dana's life was a reflection of the grace, mercy, and forgiveness of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Throughout his life he worked with prison, refugee, and at risk youth ministries and baking bread became a ministry later in life. A man of the Word, Dana loved to teach, disciple, and encourage others in their walk with Christ. His legacy of love, perseverance, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
