Benjamin Campbell Mitchell, known to his family and friends as Ben, finished his earthly race on December 18, 2020 at the age of 19.  Ben's life, smile, and care for others leave an indelible mark on those who knew him.  He was born in East Ridge, TN on December 1, 2001 to Rev. Danny and Mary Pat Mitchell.  He deeply loved his sister Claire, and spent his 19 years entertaining and frustrating his older sister as only younger brothers can do.  Ben was a 2020 graduate of Chattanooga Christian School, where he played football and baseball.  He was pursuing a degree from Chattanooga State in hopes of becoming an industrial electrician. He leaves behind his parents, sister, grandparents Ted and Patty Robinson, uncle Eddie Mitchell, uncle and aunt Andy & Kara Robinson, uncle and aunt Mike & Tricia Robinson, and cousins Ryelee, Miles, Garett, Sam, Rosie and Pippa.  Ben was known as a loyal and dependable friend and teammate and leaves behind innumerable others who love him.  Ben committed his life to the Lord at a young age and was a member of New City Fellowship Glenwood.  He rests in the arms of his Savior and though he will be deeply missed, his family and friends look forward to the day when we will be eternally reunited with our son, our brother, our grandson, our nephew, our cousin, and our dear friend. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the CCS BASEBALL PROGRAM in memory of Ben Mitchell.
